Here's the best answer to your many questions regarding how to effectively fish your Boss Shads. Now you can spend an educational day fishing one on one with Paul Frustereo. The best way to improve your trolling effectiveness is to fish with the person who created and makes every Boss Shad himself.

Anyone can hire a guide to go out and catch a musky or two but this is a very different concept. Your 8 hour guided trolling trip will be personalized to maximize your future potential as a musky troller. With 25 years of experience fishing in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Canada, Paul knows what techniques work, as well as why and when they will be most effective. Topics that can be covered while on the water will be running depths, boat and rod setup, tuning baits and t'ing hooks. Additional topics can be as basic or advanced as you would like.

Guided trips will be available from May until Fall and there will be some evening 4 hour trips available as well. Trips will be for 1 or two people so you are guaranteed to get the most out of your experience and also have the best chance possible to catch a Musky too.
We will fish either at West Branch or Lake Milton.
Because conditions can change from day to day, we will spend your day at whichever lake has been most productive.
All equipment is provided.
Rods, reels and of course Boss Shads as well as the other tools necessary to catch and safely release your musky are already on the boat. Please refrain from bringing any of these items as they only add clutter to the boat, unless specifically discussed with Paul BEFORE your trip.
The boat has a full enclosure.
We will fish rain or shine with the exception of thunderstorms. You only need to bring a few items, clothing appropriate for the weather, (keep in mind it can be much colder on the water) sunscreen, sunglasses and whatever you want for food and drink for the day. Also you must have a valid Ohio fishing license before the day of your trip.
We will fish a full 8 hour day.
Departure and arrival times will vary somewhat in order to have lines in the water during the best lunar period for the day whenever possible. Along with the the ramp location, start and finish times will be determined a few days ahead of your trip. Due to heavy weekend boat traffic we are currently only guiding Monday-Friday. This will allow us to fish the best areas without the need to continually adjust course to avoid pleasure boats and fishing tournament traffic on the weekends.
Rates and Booking
8 hour trips will be $260 for one person and $350 for two people. A $100 deposit will secure your date. Please have several dates available, especially if you are trying to book on short notice. We will try to accommodate your first choice whenever possible but having a second or third date available may be necessary.
